Shadow and Support Leadership: Work closely with the Head of Sales to learn the nuances of the role, understand customer needs, and develop strategies for effective sales execution.
Lead Generation: Identify and nurture leads through various channels (Emails, Calling, LinkedIn), ensuring a robust pipeline for future opportunities.
Customer Engagement: Build relationships with clients, understand their requirements, and position our solutions effectively to meet their goals.
Partner Collaboration: Work with partners to identify co-sell opportunities, coordinate joint efforts, and maximize win rates.
Proposal Development: Assist in drafting, reviewing, and turning around high-quality proposals that align with customer objectives.
Sales Tools Management: Leverage sales automation tools and CRM (e.g., HubSpot) for lead management, reporting, and driving efficiency.
Market Research: Stay updated on public sector trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging opportunities in Higher Education, Government, and Healthcare IT.
Reporting: Prepare and present reports using Word, Excel, and PowerPoint to communicate performance metrics, pipeline status, and key insights.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Experience: 3-5 years of IT sales experience, preferably with exposure to public sector clients.
Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint .
Sales Tools Expertise: Experience with CRM platforms like HubSpot and sales automation tools is mandatory.
Strong Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for client interaction and proposal development.
Self-Starter: A proactive, independent worker who thrives in high-pressure situations and is willing to go the extra mile.
Flexibility: Comfortable working extended and non-traditional hours to align with US time zones and meet client needs.
Learning Mindset: Quick learner with a keen interest in understanding public sector IT sales and solution delivery.
Organizational Skills: Detail-oriented with strong time management and multitasking abilities.
