Commercial Executive - Accounting

Role & responsibilities

1. Claims Management:

• Handle day-to-day claims from distributors and super stockists, including verification and processing.
• Conduct in-depth verification of claims related to discounts, rebates, QPS (Quality Product Support), and dealer subsidies.

2. GST and Compliance Oversight:

• Ensure proper accounting of GST impact on credit notes issued for rebates, discounts, QPS, and dealer subsidies.
• Stay updated on GST regulations and apply them effectively in claim and credit note processing.
• Assist in resolving GST-related issues or discrepancies in claims.

3. Query Resolution:

• Address and resolve claim-related queries from distributors and super stockiest.
• Liaise with internal teams to clarify and rectify discrepancies in claims.
• Provide proactive communication to stakeholders regarding the status of claims.

4. Reporting and Analysis:

• Prepare monthly and quarterly claim MIS (Management Information System) reports.
• Develop and maintain dashboards for review meetings, providing actionable insights.

Preferred candidate profile

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in claims processing and accounts management
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups, and dashboards).
• Knowledge of accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage distributor and super stockist relationships.
