Azure DevOps Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer who will be responsible for building, maintaining, and optimizing continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, automating infrastructure, and ensuring smooth collaboration between development and operations teams. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance the reliability, scalability, and performance of our cloud infrastructure on Azure.

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for efficient code delivery and automation using Azure DevOps, Git, and other modern tools.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using tools such as Azure Resource Manager (ARM), Terraform, and Ansible.
• Manage and monitor the health, performance, and security of Azure-based environments.
• Optimize the build and deployment process to minimize downtime and improve release velocity.
• Work closely with development teams to implement agile processes and enable continuous integration and testing.
• Collaborate with security teams to integrate security best practices into DevOps processes (DevSecOps).
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with build processes, deployments, and cloud infrastructure.
• Integrate automated testing into the CI/CD pipeline to ensure high-quality releases.
• Implement and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) for efficient environment provisioning and scaling.
• Monitor, report, and maintain metrics for build and deployment pipelines, system uptime, and performance.
• Assist in the development of disaster recovery plans and implement high availability and failover strategies.
• Ensure that Azure DevOps services (e.g., Azure DevOps Repos, Pipelines, Boards) are being utilized effectively.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior DevOps engineers and share knowledge on Azure DevOps practices and tools.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience: Minimum of 6 years of experience in DevOps engineering, with at least 3+ years of hands-on experience working with Azure DevOps.
• Strong experience in designing and managing Azure infrastructure (VMs, Networking, Storage, Kubernetes, etc.).
• Extensive experience with CI/CD pipeline tools, such as Azure DevOps Pipelines, Jenkins, or GitLab CI.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Azure ARM Templates, or Bicep.
• Expertise in containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, AKS) and container orchestration.
• Strong knowledge of source control and versioning tools (e.g., Git).
• Experience with automation/configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
• Understanding of monitoring, logging, and performance metrics tools (e.g., Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Prometheus, Grafana).
• Solid understanding of cloud security principles, IAM, and best practices in a cloud-first environment.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps principles (CI/CD, automated testing, and infrastructure automation).
• Strong scripting skills in languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
