Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Associate Director - HR Business Partner to drive key HR strategies and initiatives for our fast-paced, dynamic organization. In this role, you will collaborate closely with business leaders to enhance employee engagement, retention, and leadership development, while aligning HR practices with organizational goals.

Key responsibilities include stakeholder management, organizational design, change management, employee lifecycle ownership, policy formulation, and driving learning and wellness initiatives.

Ideal candidates will have 10-14 years of HRBP experience, preferably in startups/Fintech/Neobanking, with expertise in managing a 500+ employee base. A strong analytical mindset, excellent stakeholder management, and a passion for building a high-impact, inclusive culture are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Business Understanding and Acumen:

- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the organization's vision, mission, values, and goals.

- Grasp the business priorities and products while anticipating long-term implications of decisions.

- Adapt to changing situations, overcome challenges, and align HR strategies with business objectives.

2. Stakeholder Management:

- Navigate organizational dynamics and build strong relationships with business and HR leaders.

- Establish trust with senior leaders, acting as a thought partner and advisor.

- Address resistance effectively and align stakeholder interests with organizational priorities.

3. Problem Solving and Result Orientation:

Develop innovative, out-of-the-box solutions to address organizational challenges.

Plan and optimize the use of available resources to achieve desired results.

4. Policy and Process Ownership:

- Contribute to formulating future policies and ensuring the effectiveness of current ones.

- Align HR activities with business challenges and create data-driven reports to inform leadership decisions.

- Manage and improve all aspects of the employee lifecycle within assigned business units.

5. Organizational Design and Change Management:

- Support organizational restructuring and change initiatives to align with long-term goals.

- Diagnose team dynamics, implement interventions, and improve team effectiveness.

- Lead change management projects and drive organizational effectiveness.

6. Engagement and Retention:

- Measure employee engagement and develop strategies to boost morale and participation.

- Identify attrition risks, analyze trends, and implement retention strategies.

- Collaborate with managers to create career plans for high-potential employees.

7. Leadership Development:

- Partner with leadership to develop talent and identify future leaders.

- Implement programs for leadership development and succession planning.

- Align leadership expertise with business objectives to support scalability.

8. Learning and Wellness Initiatives:

- Promote a culture of continuous learning by implementing effective development programs.

- Advocate for wellness initiatives, focusing on mental health and psychological well-being.

- Partner to design and execute impactful wellness and learning charters.

9. Communication, Grievance Resolution, and Relationship Management:

- Maintain regular communication with employees, managers, and leaders to foster trust and collaboration.

- Address grievances, resolve conflicts, and promote effective teamwork.

- Build strong internal networks and productive working relationships across teams.

Qualifications and Skills:

- 10-12 years of proven HRBP experience in a fast-paced or startup environment.

- Experience managing an employee base of 500+.

- A passion for building a high-impact, high-performance, and inclusive culture.

- Growth mindset with a strong focus on continuous learning and feedback.

- Analytical thinker with a data-driven approach to problem-solving.

- Proficient in performance management, organizational design, talent management, compensation, and people operations.

- Creative content ideation and execution skills.

- Exceptional people management and communication abilities.

- MBA in HR (preferred from a Tier 1 institute).
