Role Description. We are seeking a Head of Healthcare to lead our healthcare initiatives with a blend of clinical expertise, business acumen, and exceptional leadership skills. This role requires navigating the complexities of cross-functional healthcare projects with decisiveness and high ownership. Your responsibilities include steering the healthcare roadmap, ensuring projects align with our product strategy, recruiting top-tier medical talent, and maintaining a laser focus on patient impact and health outcomes. With a proven track record in healthcare environments, preferably with exposure to digital health or insurtech, you will foster a culture of high-quality care delivery and drive your team toward excellence. Healthcare Product Roadmap Delivery. Lead and execute Plums healthcare product roadmap to align with overall company goals. Oversee the design, development, and launch of patient-focused healthcare services, ensuring timely and high-quality outcomes. Ensure Plums healthcare solutions are scalable, secure, and clinically sound. Collaborate with Business teams to streamline healthcare products and support sales efforts. Innovation in Healthcare Delivery. Drive innovation in healthcare delivery, focusing on telemedicine, preventive care, longevity, and efficient care management. Leverage technology to develop user-friendly solutions for health assessments, disease screening, and care management. Implement processes to enhance clinical workflows, reduce manual tasks, and improve operational efficiency while maintaining care quality. Develop features that comply with clinical protocols, data privacy regulations, and industry standards. Building Care Management Protocols. Develop and implement care management protocols for preventive disease management, focusing on areas such as nutrition, mental health, and overall wellness. Create protocols for chronic disease management, with a focus on conditions such as diabetes and other long-term health challenges. Attracting & Retaining Talent. Cultivate a culture of clinical excellence, autonomy, and continuous learning. Recruit top medical talent and support team growth through mentorship, feedback, and professional development. Ideal Candidate:. Education:MD from an accredited medical college. Additional degrees or certifications in public health, healthcare administration, or business are preferred. Experience:Minimum 14 years in healthcare with significant leadership experience in digital health, telemedicine, or insurtech environments. Experience with healthcare workflow management, care protocols, and scaling healthcare services. Skills:Expertise in clinical care management, large-scale healthcare system management, and hands-on experience with digital health platforms. Strong commitment to evidence-based medicine, healthcare innovation, and patient-centric care strategies. Personal Qualities:Entrepreneurial mindset, proven leadership capabilities, and a track record of substantial contributions to healthcare innovation. Exceptional communication and collaboration skills are essential.
