Purchase Executive

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchase Executive to join our team in Ahmedabad. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in procurement, preferably within the dye manufacturing industry. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the procurement of raw materials, maintaining supplier relationships, and ensuring the timely and cost-effective sourcing of goods necessary for production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Procure raw materials, chemicals, and other goods required for dye manufacturing operations.
• Source new suppliers and negotiate favorable terms, ensuring the best price, quality, and delivery timelines.
• Monitor and maintain stock levels to avoid production delays while minimizing inventory costs.
• Review purchase orders, supplier contracts, and invoices to ensure compliance with company standards.
• Coordinate with the production and inventory teams to align purchasing with production schedules and demand.
• Ensure the timely delivery of purchased materials, addressing any delays or quality issues.
• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, handling any disputes or issues that arise.
• Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, pricing, and new suppliers.
• Maintain accurate records of all purchases and supplier communications.
• Assist in budgeting and cost control, working to achieve cost-saving targets.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• 2-5 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role, preferably in the dye manufacturing industry.
• Knowledge of procurement processes, vendor management, and inventory control.
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to manage supplier relationships.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Good communication skills in both English and Hindi.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.) and any ERP or procurement management systems.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
