EHS Officer

1. Basic Functions

(a) Ensure Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) Compliance for all Projects undertaken by

PRESPL.

(b) Implement and maintain EHS Management system at site.

(c) Implement and maintain 5S at site.

(d) Implement and maintain Kaizen at site.

(e) Follow-up Legal Compliances (CTE, CTO, Fire NOC)

(f) Maintaining Incident Board at site and doing root cause analysis for the same.

(g) Preparing Annual Training Calendar as per EHS norms.

2. Key Responsibility Areas (KRA)

(a) Responsible to achieve zero harm to environment. Carry out and document HSE inspections
and facilitate for management safety walks. Plan and carry out weekly HSE coordination

meetings with all contractors. Ensure that Contractors training and awareness programs are

carried out as planned.

(b) Review Method Statements incl. risk assessments, and ensure that contractors involve

workers in Job Safety Analyses

(c) Responsible for maintaining Environment Compliances, Comply with applicable rules &

regulations of State Pollution Control Board/Central pollution Control Board/National Green

Tribunal (NGT)

(d) Institute programs to ensure process safety, employee safety, fire protection, and emergency

response. Nominate persons in each plant and train them to act quickly and appropriately in

emergency situations, Develop and deliver related training and provide expertise to ensure

safety compliance.

(e) Accurately respond to customer and safety agency requests and ensure that all applicable

internal and external reporting requirements are performed accurately and in a timely manner.

(f) Use appropriate resources to track, calculate, and analyze data in order to develop process

changes.

(g) Carry out mock safety drills like fire drills, emergency evacuation etc. on regular basis.

(h) Represent the Company regarding Consent renewals, EHS compliances of its Plants at

Government Offices.

(i) Any task assigned by Management.
