- Manager - Merchant Banking
About Us:
- Pune E Stock Broking is a veteran and listed player in the secondary Indian capital markets. We now seek to extend our success in the Primary Market as well. Our focus is on being the preferred partners for growth minded businesses looking to raise funds; and hence act as a catalyst of the India growth story.
- We are seeking a skilled and experienced manager to ensure adherence to SEBI regulations and to fulfil our goal.
- Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to grow the merchant banking business.
- Build and maintain relationships with corporate clients, investors, and regulatory authorities.
- Draft and review key documents, such as:
- Offer documents for public issues (e.g., prospectus, red herring prospectus).
- Information memorandums for private placements.
- Due diligence reports.
- Agreements (e.g., underwriting, loan syndication, or advisory agreements).
- Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to finalize documents.
- Manage and mentor junior staff, ensuring skill development in areas like financial analysis, compliance, and drafting.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with transactions, including financial, legal, and reputational risks.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, investors, regulators, and internal stakeholders.
- Prepare and present reports, pitches, and transaction updates to clients and senior management.
Qualifications:
- Masters or MBA in finance/economics or a professional degree
- Minimum 2 Years of prior experience in merchant banking or with listing compliances.
- Strong understanding of corporate governance and compliance frameworks.
- Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
