Role: The Quantitative Developer is responsible for designing, developing and maintaining the software infrastructure for quantitative trading strategies. They work closely with traders, quantitative analysts and researchers to implement, test and deploy algorithms, models and strategies for automated trading platforms.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop and maintain the software infrastructure for quantitative trading strategies.
Collaborate with traders, quantitative analysts and researchers to implement, test and deploy algorithms, models and strategies developed by quantitative researchers for automated trading platforms.
Assist quantitative researchers in backtesting trading strategies.
Develop and maintain databases for storing and retrieving large volumes of financial data.
Participate in code review and ensure code quality, performance and maintainability.
Qualification:
Strong programming skills in Python, MATLAB, R or similar languages.
2+ years of relevant experience as a quantitative developer.
Proven history of backtesting trading strategies.
Knowledge of financial markets, financial instruments and trading strategies.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and a focus on delivering high-quality work.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with machine learning, deep learning or artificial intelligence techniques.
Familiarity with trading platforms and financial APIs.
Experience with Agile software development methodologies.
