Azure Engineer - Cloud Infrastructure (3-6 yrs)

Job Description :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Azure Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing, deploying, and managing cloud-based infrastructure solutions using Microsoft Azure.

You will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of scalable, secure, and reliable cloud environments that support our business applications and services.

Key Responsibilities :

Cloud Infrastructure Design & Implementation :

- Design and implement scalable, secure, and reliable Azure cloud infrastructure solutions.

- Collaborate with architects and development teams to translate application requirements into cloud infrastructure designs.

- Implement best practices for Azure resource management, security, and cost optimization.

Deployment & Configuration :

- Automate infrastructure deployments using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as ARM templates, Terraform, or Bicep.

- Configure Azure services including Virtual Machines, Virtual Networks, Load Balancers, Azure Active Directory, Storage Accounts, and more.

- Implement and manage Azure Identity and Access Management (IAM), ensuring compliance with security policies.

Monitoring & Maintenance :

- Monitor cloud infrastructure performance and troubleshoot issues using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and other monitoring tools.

- Maintain and manage backups, disaster recovery plans, and failover mechanisms.

- Apply patches and updates to cloud infrastructure as needed to maintain security and performance.

Security & Compliance :

- Implement and maintain security controls, policies, and procedures in line with industry best practices and compliance requirements.

- Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and implement corrective actions.

- Manage network security, including Azure Firewall, Network Security Groups (NSGs), and Azure Security Center.

Automation & Optimization :

- Automate repetitive tasks using scripting languages such as PowerShell, Azure CLI, or Python.

- Optimize cloud resources for performance and cost, and recommend improvements as needed.

- Manage and optimize CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure deployment and configuration management.

Qualifications :

- 3+ years of hands-on experience in Azure cloud infrastructure engineering.

- Proficiency in using Azure services such as Azure VMs, Azure Virtual Networks, Azure Storage, Azure Active Directory, Azure DevOps, and more.

- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep.

- Strong understanding of networking, security, and cloud architecture principles.

- Proficiency in scripting and automation using PowerShell, Azure CLI, or Python.

- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or Git.
