Job Description
- Provide functional knowledge and hands-on experience in the Electricity, Gas, or Water Industry.
Configure the IS-U system with hands-on experience.
- Lead Business Workshops, Blueprint Sessions, and develop BBPs/BBDs FS, Test Scenarios, conduct Trainings, perform Testing, and provide defect management support for the FI-CA module.
Design core/customized business processes and offer best practices for ISU.
Communicate complex requirements effectively to both Technical and Non-technical stakeholders.
Willingness to travel as required. - Required Experience:
Comprehensive understanding of different business processes in the - Utility Industry (Regulated and Deregulated).
SAP FI-CA knowledge, particularly in preparing business blueprints, business process plans (BPP), functional documents, and test cases.
Familiarity with the Meter to Cash process.
- Experience with FICA Dunning procedures, Collection Strategy, payment integration (cash desk/external cash desk), write-offs, return processing, security deposits, installment plans, and promise to pay.
- Expertise in Payment reconciliation with third parties and Banks.
Experience configuring FICA Events and BRF+ (functional).
- Strong knowledge of clearing strategies and rules.
Experience with Cash Desk operations and clarifications.
Knowledge in configuring credit worthiness (in SAP) and with third parties, payment collection agencies.
- Managing Send items to Collection Agency, auto reversal of bills, manual postings (custom), and refund management for any payment mode.
- Ability to develop custom solutions using standard methods as much as possible.
- Proficiency with FICA tables to generate Payment and reconciliation reports on demand.
- Implementation of installment plans and payment schemes, as well as deferral of payment configurations.
- Strong knowledge of month-end and period-end closing, and FICA to FICO GL integration.
Develop templates and methods to improve the efficiency of application support.
- Gather and prioritize SAP Business requirements and design appropriate solutions.
- Understand configuration dependencies and inter-relationships between SAP modules such as Device Management, CS/CRM, Billing, and design and troubleshoot within this context.
- Define test scenarios to cover the full scope of business requirements, create master data, and carry out unit, cycle, and integration tests.
- Education Qualifications:
Graduate / Post Graduate / MBA with relevant experience in SAP Utilities. - Work Experience:
3-7 years of hands-on experience in configuring and designing the SAP ISU FI-CA module.
- At least two IS-U implementation project experiences as a lead consultant.
