C++/FPGA Engineer (Open)

Job Summary:
As a C++ and FPGA Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and testing embedded systems and hardware acceleration solutions using FPGA platforms. You will work closely with software and hardware engineers to develop high-performance systems using C++ for application logic and HDL (VHDL/Verilog) for FPGA programming.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop high-performance algorithms and software in C++ for embedded systems and hardware acceleration.
Design, implement, and simulate FPGA-based systems using HDL (VHDL/Verilog).
Integrate FPGA solutions with embedded software platforms.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize system performance and meet project deadlines.
Debug and optimize existing hardware and software designs.
Write and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and test plans.
Perform hardware validation and functional testing on FPGA platforms.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in hardware-software co-design.

Qualifications:
Bachelor s or Master s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
Strong proficiency in C++ programming, particularly in the context of embedded systems or hardware programming.
Hands-on experience with FPGA development and simulation tools (such as Xilinx Vivado, Intel Quartus, etc.).
Knowledge of hardware description languages (HDL) such as VHDL or Verilog.
Experience in hardware-software co-design and hardware acceleration techniques.
Strong understanding of digital design principles, including signal processing, memory management, and real-time systems.
Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
Excellent problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Preferred Skills:
Experience with high-speed interfaces (PCIe, Ethernet, etc.) and protocols.
Knowledge of system-level design methodologies (e.g., HLS, SystemVerilog).
Familiarity with embedded Linux and driver development.
Understanding of scripting languages (Python, TCL) for automation.
Experience in low-latency systems or high-performance computing.
