IT Hardware Engineer

Engineer should do OS installations windows and Linux, printer setup, hardware accessories upgrade, shouldnhave basic netowkring knowledge and should do basic networking. Need to visit field calls when needed as per customer requirements.Responsibilities:

OS Installation and Configuration:
Install and configure Windows and Linux operating systems on desktops, laptops, and servers.
Troubleshoot operating system issues.
Perform system updates and patches.
Printer Setup and Maintenance:
Install and configure printers (local and network).
Troubleshoot printer issues.
Perform printer maintenance and repairs.
Hardware Upgrade and Maintenance:
Upgrade computer hardware components (e.g., RAM, hard drives, graphics cards).
Troubleshoot hardware issues.
Perform preventative maintenance on hardware.
Networking:
Basic network setup and configuration (e.g., routers, switches, Wi-Fi).
Troubleshoot network connectivity issues.
Basic understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
Field Service:
Travel to customer locations to provide on-site technical support.
Diagnose and resolve technical issues at customer sites.
Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers.
Customer Support:
Provide technical support to customers via phone, email, and in person.
Document customer interactions and solutions in a ticketing system.
Escalate complex issues to senior engineers or management.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate documentation of installations, configurations, and troubleshooting steps.
Contribute to the development of knowledge base articles.
