ProPhoenix is now looking for talented individuals to join their Cloud Team at their development center in Chennai, South India.

Preferred qualifications:

1) 2-6 years of hands-on experience in AWS Cloud Administration 2) Experienced in analyzing complex software systems 3) Hands-on experience with EC2 instances and its performance monitoring. 4) Experience with monitoring and log aggregation systems 5) Monitoring of Cloud infrastructure and on-call support as required 6) Strong understanding of support processes SLA, handling tickets, monitoring, processes, and metrics. 7) Experience of working in teams which includes a wide variety of people and roles, including developers, software architects, QA engineers 8) Experience working with infrastructure-as-code tools (IAC) such as Terraform 9) Familiarity with scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python. 10) Experience of developing and implementing software on Windows server systems 11) Experience with databases or storage technologies (e.g., Microsoft SQL Server) 12) In-depth understanding of AWS with Windows EC2 instances 13) Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and architecture 14) Knowledge of networking protocols and security principles. 15) Working hours are US daytime only

Responsibilities:

1. Proactive monitoring of Windows EC2 instances with Microsoft IIS and SQL Server workloads

2. Identify performance issues of Windows EC2 instances before being generated as an incident.

3. Ensuring that the production environment being operational 24 x 7.

4. Being structural while performing problem-solving and multitasking.

5. Communicate effectively in both verbal and written to the stakeholders.

6. Always be up to date on the production system changes and follow the change management process.

7. Stay calm while working under pressure and provide courteous behavior.
