Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Branch Credit Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in credit underwriting, CAM preparation, and personal discussion (PD) experience . As a key member of the credit team, you will be responsible for assessing loan applications, ensuring compliance with credit policies, and making sound credit decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct credit underwriting for PL (Personal Loans) and LAP (Loan Against Property) products.
- Prepare Credit Appraisal Memos (CAMs) with in-depth financial and risk analysis.
- Perform Personal Discussions (PDs) with customers to evaluate creditworthiness.
- Ensure adherence to internal and regulatory credit policies.
- Maintain strong relationships with local market stakeholders and customers.
- Analyze financial statements, bank statements, and other relevant documents for loan assessment.
- Monitor portfolio quality and take proactive measures to mitigate risks.
- Collaborate with sales and operations teams for smooth loan processing
Key Requirements:
- Experience: Proven experience in credit underwriting and CAM preparation .
- PD Experience: Strong ability to conduct personal discussions and assess borrower credibility.
- Local Market Knowledge: Must be a local candidate with good market connections.
- Product Knowledge: In-depth understanding of PL and LAP products .
- Skills: Strong analytical, decision-making, and communication skills.
