Job Overview :

- We are seeking a highly skilled Tableau Project Manager to lead and manage the end-to-end delivery of Tableau-based data visualization and reporting projects.

- In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including data analysts, business stakeholders, and Tableau developers, to deliver actionable insights through dynamic dashboards and reports.

- You will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and in alignment with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities :

Project Management :

- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of Tableau-based data visualization projects from initiation to completion.

- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and milestones.

- Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure project deliverables are met.

- Monitor and track project progress, ensuring timely completion and identifying potential risks and mitigation strategies.

- Conduct regular project status meetings with stakeholders to provide updates and gather feedback.

Stakeholder Management :

- Collaborate with business users to gather requirements, understand business needs, and translate them into actionable data insights.

- Build strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals, priorities, and timelines.

- Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders in an easy-to-understand manner.

Tableau Development and Support :

- Oversee the development and enhancement of Tableau dashboards and reports, ensuring they meet business requirements and are scalable for future use.

- Ensure adherence to best practices for data visualization, dashboard design, and performance optimization.

- Support the Tableau development team by providing project insights, reviewing progress, and assisting with technical challenges.

Quality Assurance :

- Ensure the accuracy and consistency of data in Tableau reports and dashboards.

- Conduct regular reviews and testing of Tableau dashboards to ensure functionality, user-friendliness, and alignment with business objectives.

Resource Management :

- Manage the allocation of resources for Tableau projects, ensuring that the right team members with the right skills are assigned to each project.

- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members and Tableau developers.

Reporting and Documentation :

- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, meeting notes, issue logs, and change requests.

- Provide status reports and project updates to senior management and other relevant stakeholders.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Business Administration, or related field.

- A Master's degree is a plus.

Experience :

- 3+ years of experience in project management, specifically in business intelligence or data analytics.

- Strong experience with Tableau, including creating dashboards, reports, and integrating with data sources.

- Experience managing end-to-end project delivery for data analytics or BI solutions.

- Familiarity with Agile or Scrum project management methodologies is a plus.

Skills :

- Strong understanding of Tableau Server and Tableau Desktop.

- Proficient in project management tools such as Jira, Asana, or Microsoft Project.

- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Certifications (optional but preferred) :

- Tableau Desktop Specialist or Tableau Certified Professional.

- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent is a plus.
