S3M Design Consultants LLP is urgently hiring for Project Manager/Coordinator at Senegal - West Africa location.

Location: Senegal, West Africa

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the civil engineering (major) and MEPF (minor) aspects of our industrial project in Senegal. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in managing large-scale Industrial projects, ensuring adherence to specifications, standards, and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the planning and execution of Project
• Supervise multidisciplinary construction teams to ensure project milestones are met.
• Monitor quality and maintain records of all tests performed on-site.
• Alert senior management and the client to any observed delays or quality issues.
• Conduct project review meetings on-site and distribute minutes of the meeting to all stakeholders.
• Coordinate with contractors, statutory agencies, the client, Ahmedabad Office, and other stakeholders.
• Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Document processes and present project progress updates to senior management and clients.
• Verify contractors' bills.
• Study the execution drawings well in advance and resolve all the queries of contractors

Requirements:

• Diploma in Civil Engineering or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Excellent Proficiency in English Language
• Candidate with Proficiency in French Language will have added benefit
• At least 5 years of experience in a civil engineering role on industrial projects.
• Proficiency in civil engineering project management software (e.g., Microsoft Office, AutoCAD).
• Ability to read and understand tender specifications.
• In-depth knowledge of civil engineering and construction specifications, standards, and codes.
• Excellent leadership, project management, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong mathematical, time-management, and organizational abilities.
• Outstanding communication and collaboration skills.
• Availability for construction site visits outside of business hours, when necessary.

Candidate with work experience in Industrial projects & Consultancy or architectural firm will be preferred.
