Title : Technical Project Manager
Experience : 10+ years
Location : Gurugram (Work from Office)
Overview :
As a Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the successful execution of projects within our organization for multiple clients. You will be responsible for managing project timelines, resources, budgets, and deliverables to ensure that projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive collaboration and ensure that project objectives are met. This role requires managing multiple projects, particularly for domestic Indian clients, ensuring their timely and successful execution while aligning with client expectations and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities :
Project Planning and Execution :
- Create detailed project plans covering scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resources.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and align them with organizational -goals.
- Monitor project progress, identify roadblocks, and take corrective actions to meet milestones.
- Proactively identify risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Resource Management :
- Effectively allocate and manage project resources to meet deadlines.
- Coordinate with resource managers to ensure team members have defined roles and responsibilities.
- Continuously assess resource utilization and make adjustments to enhance efficiency.
Stakeholder Communication :
- Act as the primary liaison for project stakeholders, providing regular updates on status, risks, and milestones.
- Foster transparent communication among cross-functional teams to ensure alignment.
- Address and resolve stakeholder concerns promptly, escalating issues as necessary.
Budget and Cost Management :
- Develop and oversee project budgets, ensuring adherence throughout the project lifecycle.
- Track expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities to maintain financial health.
Quality Assurance :
- Define and implement quality standards for project deliverables.
- Monitor and evaluate deliverables to ensure compliance with quality metrics.
- Conduct post-project reviews to identify lessons learned and improve future performance.
Qualifications :
Educational Background :
- Bachelor's degree in technology or business administration (Master's degree preferred).
Experience :
- 10+ years in IT with at least 7 years in project management roles.
- Experience in software development using technologies like PHP, Node.js, Java, React.js, Angular.js, or .NET.
- Proven track record of managing projects for domestic Indian clients.
- Experience in working from the client location will be a plus.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Technological bend of mind should be able to contribute technically toward the project.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas and concepts to stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate and mitigate project risks.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Experience working in the Insurance industry is preferred.
-Project Management Professional (PMP), PRINCE2- certification preferred.
