Position: Project Manager (Contract)

Role & responsibilities

1. Responsible for the Overall Execution of the project.

2. Effective communication & coordination skills.

3. Understanding of Indian Power Sector.

4. Liaison with Electricity Regulatory Commission, State Load Dispatch Centre, Generating Stations, Government bodies and Bulk Industrial & Commercial Customers, etc.

5. O & M of Electrical utilities, Consumer Services such as metering, billing etc.

6. Preparation of Capital Expenditure Plan on account of load growth, loss reduction & system improvements.

7. Formulation & implementation of SOPs for power distribution operations.

8. Power Procurement Planning long term, short term.

9. Handling regulatory (ARR, Tariff, Petitions) and policy matters.

10. Carrying out consultancy projects in power sector.

11. Bid process management for power sector related projects.

Preferred candidate profile

Post Graduate with B.E/ B. Tech .

7 years experience in Regulatory matters, Power Purchase, Commercial and Operation and Maintenance of electrical utilities.
