Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled AssociateOperations& Project Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the planning, execution, and delivery of key projects while working closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. This role requires a combination of strong soft skills, technical expertise, and domain knowledge in Telecom or Broadcast Media. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate leadership capabilities, and have a passion for problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Coordination & Support:
- Assist in the creation, execution, and monitoring of project plans from initiation to closure.
- Manage project timelines, deliverables, and budgets to ensure that projects are completed on time and within scope.
- Coordinate resources and communicate project status, risks, and issues to the project manager and stakeholders.
- Ensure alignment with the organization's objectives and project goals.
2. Communication & Stakeholder Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- Facilitate meetings, document key decisions, and ensure the flow of information is consistent and clear.
- Proactively identify and resolve communication challenges to ensure smooth project progression.
- Prepare and deliver project presentations using MS PowerPoint for stakeholders.
3. Team Collaboration & Leadership:
- Foster a collaborative, productive, and positive team environment.
- Support the development of junior team members, and promote a culture of continuous improvement and learning.
- Provide leadership in problem-solving and overcoming challenges during project execution.
- Assist the project manager in conflict resolution and decision-making within the team.
4. Process Improvement & Documentation:
- Help define and document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure streamlined project management practices.
- Contribute to the improvement of project management processes by identifying areas for optimization and implementing best practices.
- Ensure that all project documentation is properly maintained, including project plans, reports, and communications.
5. Technical & Domain Expertise:
- Utilize project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Asana) for planning, tracking, and reporting.
- Leverage advanced MS Excel skills (including macros) for data analysis, reporting, and decision-making support.
- Apply knowledge of the Telecom or Broadcast Media industry to better understand project requirements and communicate effectively with technical teams.
- Support the monitoring of project performance using relevant metrics and KPIs.
6. Risk & Issue Management:
- Identify potential risks and issues affecting project timelines, budget, and quality, and work with the team to implement mitigation plans.
- Monitor project progress and resolve any roadblocks or delays efficiently.
- Ensure that project goals are achieved while maintaining quality standards.
7. Travel Requirement:
- The role requires PAN India travel to various project sites, client locations, and key stakeholders to ensure smooth project implementation and support.
- Travel frequency will vary depending on project requirements.
Education: MBA from a reputed B-School, Project Management, or a related field.
Experience:
- Minimum 0-3 years of experience in project management or a related field. Prior experience in Telecom or Broadcast Media is highly preferred.
- Experience using project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, Asana, or similar platforms.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (including the use of macros for data manipulation and reporting).
- Proficiency in MS PowerPoint for creating presentations and reporting.

- Strong MS Excel skills (including macros, pivot tables, and data analysis).
- Expertise in creating detailed reports, status updates, and presentations using MS PowerPoint.
- Experience with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and process documentation.
Domain Skills:
- Solid understanding of the Telecom or Broadcast Media industry, including project requirements and common challenges.
- Knowledge of project management best practices and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Experience with risk management and troubleshooting issues in a technical project environment.
Certifications (Preferred but not required):
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certifications.
- Agile Scrum Master Certification.
