Solar Project Coordinator

Project Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of solar EPC projects by coordinating with various stakeholders, managing project schedules, and ensuring deliverables are met on time and within budget. This role involves liaising with internal teams, clients, and subcontractors to ensure project alignment, efficient resource allocation, and adherence to quality and safety standards.

Project Planning and Scheduling

• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
• Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure alignment of deliverables with project goals.
• Identify and mitigate potential risks to project schedules.

Stakeholder Coordination

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, vendors, and internal teams.
• Ensure clear communication and coordination between all stakeholders.
• Conduct regular progress meetings and provide updates to stakeholders.

Procurement Coordination

• Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely availability of materials and equipment.
• Monitor and manage resource allocation across project sites.
• Track inventory and address procurement delays to avoid project disruptions.

Project Monitoring and Reporting

• Monitor project execution to ensure adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Track KPIs such as cost variance, schedule variance, and safety performance.
• Prepare and present project progress reports to senior management and clients.

Quality and Safety Assurance

• Ensure project activities comply with quality standards and safety regulations.
• Conduct regular site visits to inspect progress and resolve issues.
• Coordinate with QA/QC teams for timely inspections and approvals.

Problem Resolution and Risk Management

• Identify project bottlenecks and resolve issues in real-time.
• Implement contingency plans to address unforeseen challenges.
• Maintain a risk register and regularly update mitigation strategies.
