Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Data Engineer to join our growing team. This role will focus on leveraging your expertise in Informatica, ETL processes, Azure Databricks, and Power BI to support data integration, data pipelines, and business intelligence solutions that drive insights and business decisions.

As a Data Engineer, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders, to design, implement, and maintain efficient ETL processes and data architectures.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement ETL pipelines using Informatica to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into data warehouses and analytics platforms.
• Work with Azure Databricks to process large datasets, build scalable data models, and optimize performance for both batch and real-time data processing.
• Build and manage data solutions on Azure cloud infrastructure, ensuring seamless integration with data storage systems (e.g., Azure Data Lake,Azure SQL).
• Develop Power BI dashboards and reports to deliver actionable insights for business stakeholders, ensuring high-quality and accurate data visualizations.
• Collaborate with business analysts, data scientists, and IT teams to identify key business requirements and ensure data systems meet organizational needs.
• Optimize ETL workflows and ensure data consistency, quality, and performance across all stages of the data pipeline.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any data-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption to business operations.
• Follow best practices for data governance, security, and compliance, ensuring data privacy and regulatory standards are met.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Strong experience with Informatica for ETL development, data extraction, transformation, and loading.
• Proficiency in Azure Databricks for processing large-scale data and building data pipelines.
• In-depth knowledge of Power BI for creating interactive dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.
• Solid understanding of Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL Database, and other Azure data services.
• Experience with SQL and other scripting languages for querying and transforming data.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve complex data challenges and deliver actionable insights.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud-native data architectures and modern data engineering tools.
• Familiarity with data governance and security best practices in the cloud.
• Knowledge of additional programming languages (e.g., Python, Scala) for data processing tasks.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
