Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

Following, respecting & establishing all EHS guidelines, protocols etc. in workplace
Ensuring healthy operation with shop floor management, monitoring productivity of equipment, manpower allocation of PCPF line on a daily basis.
Monitoring of raw material in flow and product out flow of PCPF.
Energy efficiency monitoring of PCPF. Review and optimize power & fuel consumption of firing/ drying operation.
Production activity at PCPF line right from raw material arrangement, mould inspection, mixing, casting, drying & firing.
Planning of production of PCPF with optimum manpower & other resource utilization.
Reviewing drawing, calculating mould & raw material cost, coordinating with mould maker, anchor supplier etc. Mould and other inspection at the vendor site as and when required.
Meeting statutory and regulatory norms like inspection of lifting tools & tackles, calibration of instruments, fire-fighting equipment availability, stock taking audit etc.
Daily operational data reporting pertaining to KPI of PCPF line.
Daily files like KPI reconciliation, cost analysis of PCPF
Monitoring of daily quality parameters of PCPF items and taking suitable corrective action consulting with the laboratory.
Keeping track of in process testing results of PCPF like BD, Porosity, CCS, dimension etc. of PCPF and taking corrective action in case of deviation.
Handling inspection of customers.
Packing of PCPF : Help packers to ensure suitable & safe packaging of PCPF items by coordinating with the dispatch team
Implementation & active contribution in sustenance of 5S activity inside the plant.
Rollout of OPEX initiatives in Plant.
Visual management & Dashboard implementation at shop floor.

Qualifications & Experience:

B.Sc./Diploma/B.E. (Ceramic or Mechanical Engg).
Strong analytical, interpersonal and communications skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
2 to 4 years of industrial manufacturing engineer experience.
