Job Role - As a Product Analyst with experience in logistics tech, the role focuses on managing and enhancing our reports and dashboard module, working closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, improve user experiences, monitor product performance and adoption. The Product Analyst will draft solutions, collaborate on UI/UX designs, provide business logic for development, and oversee testing and validation. Strong analytical skills and the ability to turn data into actionable insights are crucial, along with effective communication to present findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
Roles and responsibilities -
1. Requirement Gathering
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document product requirements.
- Conduct research and surveys for requirement consolidation to understand and cater to multiple user's business needs.
- Translate requirements into clear and actionable user stories or product specifications.
- Draft a solution to the requirement and prepare a wireframe. (Tools - Excel/Figma/any other wireframing tool)
2. User Experience Enhancement
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to prepare/improve the user experience of the dashboard.
- Gather feedback on the design and solutioning from Senior Management along with Team Lead.
- Recommend enhancements and features to improve user experience.
- Finalize the design and plan its development as per sprint planning.
3. Development
- Provide business logic
- Provide walkthrough of the solutioning to the developer
- Work closely with the team till development is completed
- Manage delivery timelines accordingly
4. Testing
- Perform first level UAT pertaining to cosmetic level requirement and design adherence.
- For data validation - validate data in the dashboard as per logic and share observations.
- Provide Walkthrough to stakeholders and cross check validation.
5. Product Performance Evaluation
- Monitor key product metrics and performance indicators.
- Conduct regular evaluations to assess product performance against goals and benchmarks.
- Identify areas of improvement and recommend strategies for optimization.
6. Documentation
- Logic documentation
- Requirement documentation
- Adoption Monitoring.
- Existing product monitoring, enhancement or depreciation(sunset)
7. Reporting and Presentation
- Prepare reports and presentations to communicate insights, findings, and recommendations.
- Present data analysis and product performance evaluations to stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- Clearly articulate complex concepts in a concise and understandable manner.
8. Training and stakeholder engagement
- Conduct product training sessions for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the product's functionality, features, and value proposition.
- Develop and maintain marketing collaterals including product documentation, brochures, and presentations to effectively communicate the product's benefits and capabilities with stakeholders
Desired qualifications:
- Educational qualification - Bachelor's degree in technology
- Additionally, it will be preferred if you have a Master's degree in Business Management.
Total experience - 4 to 6 years
- Prior product management experience 3+ years for SaaS Product.
Past experience in any one of the below:
- Logistics Tech Or Reports and Dashboard Or SaaS Product in ERP / HRM / CRM / Accounting
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset, with a bias for customer-focused innovation.
- Flair for good UX/UI
- Inclination towards data lead decision making.
- Excellent analytical skills with demonstrated experience turning data into actionable insights.
- Deep understanding of business strategy and metrics.
- Working Knowledge of PowerBI, MySQL
- People Management
- SCM, Control tower
