Our IES & Integrations team is part of the SAP Industries and CX organisation and makes it simple for customers to succeed, with seamlessly integrated solutions and industry-centric use cases. The Validation team in Bangalore defines provides a stable and integrated test landscape and a high degree of test automation thus enabling the testing of Lead to Cash, Intelligent Enterprise Technology Guidelines and integrated industry solutions.
THE ROLE To fit into our team, you should be passionate to acquire functional knowledge of the SAP Industries & CX solutions and understand the importance of product quality and customer needs. You ll work on challenging projects in an ambitious and highly efficient team. Several technologies and system environments are part of your work, and collaboration with other groups is crucial. We apply agile methodologies, and you will make sure that we execute efficiently along these principles and meet high quality standards with our activities. The role comprises the below mentioned tasks of a Product Specialist for our validation team. In this role you will:
- Set up test landscape and implement integrated scenarios based on configuration documents in collaboration with product owners and quality responsibles
- Establish a model company test data set with realistic customer like master and transactional data to enable efficient and reliable testing for end-to-end processes
- Deliver testing and validation services for the integrations of Industries & CX products
- Define test cases and analyze test results (blockers, issues) and take appropriate follow-up actions in collaboration with development teams
- A solution-oriented attitude is a pre-requisite in our highly innovative and dynamic work environment
- Eagerness to tackle challenging tasks and having eagles eyes towards roadmap of assigned area
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
- University degree in computer science engineering or related field
- 5+ years of experience in setting up integrated enterprise applications
- Application experience from a consulting or application development background for CX products, particularly Commerce and industries like Retail, S/4HANA will be an added advantage
- Good knowledge about the Lead to Cash process for B2B & B2C scenario would be good
- Knowledge of Quality processes - test case writing and reporting test results would be useful
- Sound analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English language
- Ability to work with geographically distributed teams seamlessly
- Ability to work in a scrum-based agile mode
