Product Manager

The impact you will have

• 8+ years of experience in product or engineering management
• Experience in Spark/Data Engineering puts you in front of everyone else
• Prior coding or engineering management experience will help you a lot
• Strong bias to ship products by understanding the most critical aspects of making the product successful
• Write product functional requirement specifications.
• Work closely with customers to understand product usage and convert them into product requirements.
• Evangelize the Prophecy product through blogs, social media platforms, and industry conferences.
• Work with the engineering, delivery, and success team to develop and manage overall requirements, scope, schedules, and deliverables with the engineering and success team s stakeholders.
• Work very closely with engineering and deliver owners to plan and track features and releases
• Experience moving large cross-cutting technical or engineering programs and products from inception to delivery, articulating the impact using metrics
• Communication and interpersonal skills, including relationship-building and collaboration within a diverse, cross-functional team to develop solutions
• Comfort in working in short, agile, iterative development cycles
• Entrepreneurial spirit, priding yourself on getting things done with a high level of quality
• Strong desire to work in a not well-structured, fast-moving startup environment
• You have been a top performer your entire career and have very high standards
• You have a very high sense of ownership and responsibility, with high attention to detail
• B Tech or above degree in CS or equivalent

• Experience in Spark/Data Engineering
• Prior coding or engineering management
• You have shipped software over multiple releases including software where you drove the delivery of the first version
