Pr. Solutions Engineer

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES  

• Participate in IT project development involving SAP applications, utilizing ABAP skills to create solutions for projects including ECC 6.0, S/4 HANA, and integrations with non-SAP applications.
• Determine the technical requirements of projects to ensure client specifications are met.
• Participate as SAP Pr. Solutions Engineer through all phases of new solution projects.
• Collaborate closely with functional project managers, Basis, and infrastructure teams in designing and implementing solutions and enhancements.
• Participate in code reviews, adhering to coding best practices and quickly adopting new technologies.
• Learn, help design, and implement cross-business process solutions.
• Work with the team on solution development and compliance with standards.
• Provide technical support for SAP applications, including defect resolution.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• A bachelor’s degree in information technology or a related technical field (e.g., Engineering or Science).
• 6+ years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP application development.
• Understanding of one or more SAP modules and SAP’s product portfolio.
• Experience with RICEFW (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflow) components of SAP development.
• Experience in S/4 HANA brownfield migrations, particularly in code remediation and integration artifact development.
• Strong ABAP debugging skills to support multiple SAP applications for issue resolution.
• Knowledge of OData development, CDS views, and standard FIORI templates.
• Knowledge of IT system development, IT infrastructure, and business processes.
• Familiarity with software development tools, technologies, and methodologies.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Inquisitive nature with a desire to learn and apply new information technologies.
• Knowledge of SAP Corporate Serialization preferred

• Knowledge of the SAP BTP platform using BTP services, including SAP CPI preferred.
• Understanding of SaaS-based application architecture, integration methods, and security best practices preferred.
