Sr. IT Application Analyst - Open Text

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES  

• OpenText Enterprise document management systems including development configuration with OpenText Content Server 16.X.X and 24.X.X including ActiveView, Database Schemas, WebReport Design, and WebForms, Transmittal cover sheets, OTCS workflows, Smart UI configuration, IDE, OScript, SOAP and REST API service.
• Development Experience: Strong Web report, Live report, Oscript and SOAP/REST API Development experience is required.
• Engineering Module: Extended ECM (xECM) for Engineering like Automatic Document Number, Controlled Revision Tracking, Advanced State Management, Bulk loader, Transmittal, Secure Multifile Transfer, Records Management, Brava, Blazon, Object importer.
• Extended ECM (xECM) for SAP experience is a plus.
• Upgrade/Migration: Upgrade OpenText content server from one version to latest or close to recent OTCS versions is plus.
• Requirement Analysis: Collaborate with business users to gather requirements, analyze processes, and translate them into technical solutions is plus.
• Integration: Integration knowledge is required to have integration other products like SAP, Oracle, Hexagon to ensure seamless integration and data consistency.
• Operation Support: Offer ongoing support and troubleshooting for OpenText content server related issues and provide quick solutions to critical issues.
• Documentation: Develop and maintain detailed documentation of configurations, customizations, and process flows for future reference and continuous improvement.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements to optimize business operations. Provide support for new capability development, support of existing services, incident resolution within agreed SLAs, support service recovery, and provide rotational on-call coverage.
• Business Partnership: Act as a strategic partner to business units within Air Products, understanding their unique business requirements and offering standard OpenText content Server solutions to meet those needs.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with key stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and ensure alignment between OpenText initiatives and business objectives. Foster and maintain strong relationships to facilitate effective collaboration and communication.
• Change Management: Collaborate closely with the Incident, Change and Release Management team to ensure seamless representation and coordination of requirements throughout the change and release process.
• Testing Strategy: Work with the business to develop testing strategies to ensure functionality is tested before production release.
• Scrum Master: Leading daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives, and guiding the team on Scrum practices and principles to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Assisting with backlog management and ensuring clear communication of product goals.

       MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree, Business, or a related field. OpenText Developer or Administration certification is a plus.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in OpenText Content Server.
• Experience in any of these areas is a plus: Smart UI Setup and Development.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of OpenText Content Server configurations, and integration points with external vendor products like SAP, Hexagon.
• Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex business requirements and provide effective solutions.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build strong working relationships with colleagues and clients.
