Procurement Executive

Objective:

To oversee the sourcing, purchasing, and management of commodities, OEM/ODM, and to develop and implement effective procurement strategies, manage supplier relationships, and ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of materials.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop procurement strategies in collaboration with cross-functional departments (Sales, Operations, Finance, etc.) and analyze market trends.
• Maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and monitor their performance to address issues related to quality, delivery, or cost.
• Identify, evaluate, and finalize contract manufacturers for wires and FMEG products like switches, switchgear, lighting, etc.
• Sourcing materials, goods, products, and services and negotiating the best or most cost-effective contracts and deals.
• Vendor base upgradation & rationalization Monitor the supplier performance based on QCDS, Upgrade the suppliers in respective areas of improvements.
• Develop the OEM/ODM FMEG products.
• Capacity Mapping, Planning & Expansion as per business requirement.
• PR execution, PO making & Material receipt within prescribed lead time.
• Negotiate the Payment terms & delivery terms as per delivery location.
• Work on Cost reduction strategies, Identify the area for cost reduction & work on VAVE solutions.
• Knowledge of Plastic Molding – Thermoplastics & Thermoset, Press Part, Hardware, Assembly, Packaging & Logistics.
• Ensure timely GRN received material & Payments to Suppliers.
• Experience in Procurement of Testing Equipment & Gauges.

Experience & Qualification:

• 3-5 years of experience in procurement activities.
• Hands-on experience in SAP specifically MM module
• Bachelor of Engineering.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills
