Responsibilities
- Develop and implement cost control systems to monitor and analyze project expenses, ensuring alignment with budgets and financial objectives.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, forecasts, and financial reports to support decision-making and optimize resource allocation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve operational efficiency.
- Conduct variance analysis to identify discrepancies between actual and planned costs, and provide actionable recommendations for corrective measures.
- Establish and maintain processes for tracking inventory, procurement, and material costs, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, company policies, and accounting standards while managing cost control processes.
- Drive financial planning initiatives, including annual budgeting, project cost projections, and long-term financial strategies.
- Provide regular updates and insights to management on cost performance, key metrics, and financial risks.
- Utilize financial software and tools to streamline cost monitoring and reporting processes.
- Support audits and financial reviews by preparing and presenting cost-related data and documentation.
- Continuously evaluate and refine cost control methodologies to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
- Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to negotiate favorable terms and optimize procurement strategies.
Qualification
- A Qualified Chartered Accountant with experience in cost accounting and financial management.
- Proven experience in cost control, financial planning, or accounting, with a strong understanding of cost management principles.
- 2-6 Years of experience is preferred
- Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure accuracy in reporting and compliance.
- Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and cost-saving initiatives.
