About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Database Architect to join our growing team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing robust and scalable database solutions that support our business objectives. You will play a key role in ensuring data integrity, security, and optimal performance across all our systems.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and implement complex database schemas and data models. Define data structures, relationships, and constraints to ensure data integrity and consistency.

- Develop and implement data warehousing and data mart solutions.

- Perform data modeling and normalization to optimize database performance and scalability. Select and recommend appropriate database technologies and platforms.

- Monitor database performance and identify and resolve performance bottlenecks. Implement and maintain database security measures.

- Ensure data backup and recovery procedures are in place and regularly tested.

- Perform database upgrades and migrations as needed.

- Design and implement data integration solutions, including ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes. Integrate data from various sources.

- Collaborate effectively with data analysts, data scientists, software engineers, and other stakeholders.

- Communicate technical concepts clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences. Stay abreast of the latest database technologies, trends, and best practices. Research and evaluate new database technologies and tools.

Qualifications :

Experience : 10+ years of experience in database design, development, and administration.

Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Technical

Skills :

- Strong proficiency in SQL and database design principles. Experience with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL).

- Experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra) is a plus.

- Experience with data modeling tools (e.g., Erwin, PowerDesigner).

- Experience with data integration tools (e.g., ETL tools, data pipelines).

- Experience with cloud-based databases (e.g., Amazon RDS, Azure SQL Database) is a plus.
