Process Engineer - SMT Background

Process Engineer.

Qualification: Diploma in Mechanical/BE in Mechanical / Diploma in NTTF or GTTC.

Experience: 2 - 6 Years experience in PED or Process Engineer/Manufacturing Engineer in Automotive Industry.

Required Skills:

1. Should be able to read & understand the drawings. (Specially PCB drawings)

2. Working experience in mechanical software like AutoCAD or Solid Works/PRO-E.

3. Exposure to Jigs & Fixtures and knowledge of tool materials.

4. Preparation of mandatory documents like Process Flow Diagram, PFMEA, Process capability, Control Plan, formats, checklists, etc.

5. Carrying out time study, method/motion study, and capacity & capability study for the elimination of waste and better utilization of men, machines, and materials.

6. Development and management of new suppliers for tools, equipment & new manufacturing processes.

7. Continuous effort in improving quality, cost, delivery and safety.

8. Knowledge of Japanese concepts like TPS, Kaizen, Poka-yoke, Kanban, Takt Time, TPM, JIT, Process Mapping & Value Stream Mapping, PDCA Cycle, QCC Activities, PPAP, APQP, SPC & 7 QC Tools.

9. Analyzing the problems and taking CA & PA using problem-solving techniques.

10. Knowledge of `5`S and its implementation, safety improvements, and audits.

11. Knowledge of ISO 9000 / TS 16949 & its implementation.

12. Knowledge of electrical and electronic parts, pneumatics & hydraulics are added advantages.

13. Knowledge of SMT Machine (Panasonic, Fuji)

14. SMT programming skills

15. AOI Programming and fine-tuning skills

16. PCB CP Drawing reading and new program creation in SMT Machine
