Process Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Preparation & drafting of P&IDs on AutoCAD plant 3D software.
• Development of P&IDs from PFDs.
• Line sizing & Pressure drop calculations for single & two phase flow.
• Sizing of safety devices like PSVs, ATM vents etc.
• Preparation of Process datasheets for equipment, instruments, etc.
• Development of P&IDS reports like line list, equipment list, load list, etc.
• Preparation of Safety interlocks, cause & effect diagram & knowledge of control philosophy.
• Active role in inter-disciplinary interfaces.
• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of document with respect to project requirement.
• Should able to lead & monitor the teams activity.
• Should have client interfacing ability, especially international clients.

Preferred candidate profile

• Should have experience in Chemicals/Petrochemicals/Biofuels industry / Water & Waste water or SKID based projects.
• Familiarity with API Codes & Standards.
• Hands on in AutoCAD plant 3D.
• Experience in Pump hydraulics, equipment sizing, heat & mass balance, etc.
• HAZOP participation will be added advantage.
• Experience in safety equipment sizing like PSVs, Breather valve, etc.
• Experience on international projects will be added advantage.
