Assistant Manager - CA / Management Trainee

Profile Description :

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Management Trainee who is a freshly qualified Chartered Accountant to join our dynamic Finance team. As a Management Trainee, you will have the unique opportunity to gain a comprehensive understanding of the various functions within the finance department. This role is designed to provide you with hands-on experience and exposure to different aspects of financial operations, enabling you to contribute effectively to our organization's financial success.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Analysis and Reporting:

• Assist in the preparation, analysis, and presentation of financial statements and reports.
• Collaborate with the team to perform variance analysis and identify trends, highlighting areas for improvement.

● Assist in generating accurate financial forecasts and projections.

Budgeting and Planning:

● Participate in the budgeting process, contributing to the development of budgets and financial plans.

● Monitor actual performance against budgets, identifying and investigating significant variances.

Audit and Compliance:

• Participate in internal and external audit processes, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
• Assist in ensuring adherence to financial regulations and company policies.

Taxation:

● Gain exposure to taxation procedures, including preparation and filing of tax returns.

• Assist in ensuring compliance with tax regulations and identifying potential tax-saving opportunities.

Financial Operations:

• Rotate through different finance functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger, to gain a holistic understanding of financial operations.
• Assist in streamlining processes to enhance operational efficiency. Financial Systems and

Tools:

• Learn and utilize various financial software and tools to support data analysis and reporting.
• Assist in implementing system improvements and upgrades as needed.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Collaborate with other departments, such as Operations, Marketing, Sales and HR to understand the financial implications of business decisions.
• Provide financial insights to support strategic initiatives and decision-making

Special Projects:

• Contribute to special projects as assigned by senior members of the finance team.
• Apply your analytical skills to solve complex financial challenges

Education & Experience

● Freshly qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with a strong academic record.

● Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

● Proficiency in financial analysis, reporting, and Microsoft Excel.

● Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

● Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.

● Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.

● Adaptability and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment
