Key skills for the job
At ProArch Cybersecurity, our customers are our lifeblood, and our service delivery revolves around enhancing our customers businesses by providing tailored defense strategies, proactive offensive testing, and strategic risk measurement, all supported by the latest automation technology. We are dedicated to creating an innovative environment that exceeds service reliability, efficiency, and trustworthiness expectations while delighting customers along the way. We aim to predict and reduce threats intelligently, ensuring ongoing protection for our clients and leveraging their insights to offer world class "Advanced Resilience" cybersecurity protection. Internally, we prioritize efficient processes, automation, service reliability, proactive vigilance, and providing the utmost value to our clients.
The Project Manager - Cybersecurity Services is tasked with planning, executing, and delivering cybersecurity projects. Additionally, they ensure the timely provision of managed services within a service delivery environment that focuses on Microsoft security solutions. This role ensures that cybersecurity projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget, all while meeting the quality and security standards required by the organization and its clients. The Project Manager coordinates cross-functional teams - including cybersecurity engineers, consultants, and client stakeholders - to drive project success. While a strong understanding of cybersecurity (especially Microsoft s security technologies) is important, this position emphasizes core project management duties: project planning, execution tracking, stakeholder management, and service delivery coordination to support our service delivery organization
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Initiation: Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with clients and technical leads. Develop project plans outlining timelines, tasks, and resource requirements. Ensure each project aligns with customer outcomes.
Project Execution & Coordination: Lead the day-to-day management of cybersecurity project delivery. Coordinate cross-functional teams (e. g. Security Consultants, Specialists, Analysts) to execute against the plan, ensuring everyone understands their tasks and deadlines. Manage project schedules, track progress, and adjust plans as necessary to account for changes or new requirements, keeping the project on track.
Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary liaison for project stakeholders, including clients, internal teams, and leadership. Facilitate regular status meetings and reports to communicate progress, milestones, risks, and issues. Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment between technical teams and business/client needs throughout the project lifecycle.
Risk Management & Compliance Coordination: Proactively identify and document project risks and issues (including security-related risks). Work with our internal team and customer stakeholders to assess and prioritize these risks. Develop and implement mitigation plans or contingency strategies to address risks.
Budget & Resource Management: Manage project budgets and resources to ensure efficient delivery. Track project expenditures and labor against estimates, and report on budget status. Coordinate with resource managers to secure necessary staffing (e. g. security analysts, engineers) and adjust resource plans if project scope or timelines change.
Service Delivery Coordination: Ensure a smooth delivery of cybersecurity services as projects transition from implementation to operational support. Work closely with the service delivery and operations teams to hand over completed solutions, making sure that all documentation, training, and support processes are in place. Verify that delivered security solutions (for example, Microsoft 365 security implementations, Azure Sentinel deployments, etc. ) meet the agreed-upon service levels and client expectations.
Quality Assurance: Uphold quality standards for project deliverables. Coordinate testing and validation of cybersecurity solutions in partnership with technical leads - for instance, confirming that security configurations or controls are implemented as designed. Address any quality issues by facilitating reviews or audits by subject matter experts, rather than deep technical troubleshooting by the Project Manager.
Change Control: Manage project scope and changes through change control processes. When new security requirements or technical changes arise, evaluate their impact on timeline and budget, obtain necessary approvals, and communicate changes to all stakeholders.
Documentation & Reporting: Maintain thorough project documentation including work plans, risk logs, decision registers, and status reports. Provide clear and concise reports on project progress, key metrics, and post-project results to both internal stakeholders and clients.
Continuous Improvement: After project completion, lead or participate in post-project reviews/retrospectives. Identify lessons learned and best practices specific to delivering cybersecurity services. Work on improving project management processes and templates for future security projects, contributing to the overall maturity of the cybersecurity service delivery practice.
