Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and implement complex configurations within Guidewire PolicyCenter to meet business requirements.

- Customize and extend PolicyCenter functionalities, including product modeling, underwriting rules, and workflows.

- Configure and maintain PolicyCenter rating algorithms and rules.

- Develop and maintain Guidewire PolicyCenter portal functionalities.

- Develop and maintain integrations between Guidewire PolicyCenter and other systems, including BillingCenter.

- Configure and customize Guidewire BillingCenter functionalities as required.

- Design and implement integration solutions using Guidewire Integration tools and techniques.

- Participate in the technical design and architecture of Guidewire solutions.

- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.

- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.

- Develop and execute unit tests, integration tests, and system tests.

- Support the deployment of Guidewire solutions to production environments.

- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.

- Work closely with business analysts, project managers, and other developers to deliver high-quality solutions.

- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.

- Analyze and optimize Guidewire performance.

- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.

- Participate in Guidewire version upgrades.

- Analyze the impact of upgrades and implement necessary changes.

Required Skills and Experience :

- 9 to 13 years of experience in Guidewire development.

- Extensive experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter configuration, rating, and portal development.

- Strong understanding of Guidewire BillingCenter and integration concepts.

- Proficiency in GOSU, Java, XML, and web services.

- Experience with Guidewire Studio and related tools.

- Solid understanding of insurance industry principles and practices.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Experience with Database technologies (SQL).

- Experience with Version Control Systems (GIT).

Preferred Skills :

- Guidewire certification.

- Experience with cloud-based Guidewire deployments.

- Experience with Agile development methodologies.

Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
