Job Title: Business Development Manager

What We Are Looking for:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Manager to join our growing Software Development company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business growth through strategic partnerships, client acquisition, and effective sales strategies. The BDM will play a crucial role in expanding our client base, identifying new business opportunities, and contributing to the overall success of the company.


Roles and Responsibilities:


1. Market Research and Analysis:

  • Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients, industry trends, and competitive offerings.
  • Analyze market needs and demand for software development services.

2. Lead Generation and Prospecting:

  • Generate leads through various channels such as cold calling, networking, attending industry events, and leveraging online platforms.
  • Identify and qualify potential clients based on their business needs and requirements.

3. Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
  • Understand client requirements and collaborate with the technical team to propose tailored software solutions.
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly.

4. Proposal and Presentation:

  • Prepare and present compelling proposals, demonstrating a clear understanding of client needs and how our software development services can meet those needs.
  • Collaborate with the technical team to create detailed project proposals and quotes.

5. Sales Strategy and Target Achievement:

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
  • Create and manage sales forecasts, budgets, and pipelines.

6. Contract Negotiation and Closure:

  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients, ensuring favorable terms for both parties.
  • Work closely with legal and management teams to finalize deals and secure contracts.

7. Collaboration with Cross-functional Teams:

  • Collaborate with the software development and delivery teams to ensure seamless communication and understanding of client requirements.
  • Provide feedback from clients to internal teams for continuous improvement.

8. Industry Networking:

  • Attend industry events, conferences, and seminars to stay updated on industry trends and build a strong professional network.
  • Represent the company in a positive and professional manner.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
  • 5+ years experience in business development or sales within the software development industry.
  • Strong understanding of software development processes and technologies.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Results-driven with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets.
