Job Description: Lead AI Engineer

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead AI Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Data Science, coupled with exceptional client-handling and leadership skills. This role requires leading the development and deployment of AI solutions while serving as the primary technical point of contact for clients.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Technical Leadership:

• Design, develop, and deploy AI/ML models and solutions tailored to client needs.

• Lead end-to-end AI/ML project lifecycles, from data collection and preprocessing to deployment and maintenance.

• Stay updated with the latest AI advancements and integrate them into solutions.

2. Client Engagement:

• Act as the primary technical liaison between the company and clients, understanding their needs and translating them into actionable technical requirements.

• Present technical solutions, project updates, and insights to clients in a clear and effective manner.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and long-term partnerships.

3. Team Collaboration & Mentorship:

• Lead and mentor a team of AI engineers, data scientists, and developers.

• Conduct code reviews and ensure high-quality deliverables.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and business stakeholders, to align technical solutions with business objectives.

4. Solution Delivery:

• Ensure timely and efficient delivery of AI/ML solutions that meet or exceed client expectations.

• Troubleshoot technical issues and provide innovative solutions during implementation.

• Develop and maintain project documentation, including models, workflows, and user guides.

Requirements:

• Educational Background: Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field.

• Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.

• Strong programming skills in Python, R, or other relevant languages.

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and deploying AI solutions in production environments.

• Familiarity with natural language processing (NLP), computer vision, or other specialized AI domains.

• Solid understanding of data engineering practices, big data frameworks, and databases (SQL/NoSQL).

• Client & Business Acumen:

• Proven experience in client-facing roles with a strong ability to manage and meet client expectations.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

• Experience:

• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in AI/ML development, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.

• Demonstrated success in delivering large-scale AI/ML projects.

Preferred:

• Industry certifications in AI/ML or cloud platforms.

• Experience in consulting or IT services is a plus.

• Proven track record of innovation or research in AI/ML.

Soft Skills:

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
