Payment posting - Hospital / Facility/Physician

Responsibilities:

• Accurately enter patient demographic and insurance information into the billing system.
• Review medical records to ensure proper documentation of services rendered.
• Assign appropriate billing codes according to industry standards (CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS).
• Verify insurance coverage and obtain authorizations as needed.
• Resolve billing discrepancies and EDI rejections in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve billing discrepancies.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in Physician billing & Hospital Billing preferred
• Proficiency with billing software and electronic health records (EHR) systems.
• Strong understanding of medical terminology, CPT codes, and ICD-10 coding.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of insurance billing regulations and compliance standards
