Job Description
- Working experience on Automotive switches & sensors (Speed, Pressure, Temperature, Position, Level, USB charger, Actuators, etc.)
- Responsible for leading a design team, working closely the team to ensure the delivery of projects from RFQ to SOP stage with APQP documentation.
- Provide technical direction and guidance for automotive projects.
- Manage all design activities like design freeze/release, Design Failure Mode Effect Analysis (DFMEA), Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), Design Verification/Product Validation (DV & PV) testing.
- Ability to review and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Resources management across different projects leveraging the competencies and resource optimization.
- Self-motivated, capable of working with minimal supervision and with sense of urgency.
- Defining the KPIs and metrics tracking.
- Demonstrated ability to independently execute & Lead technical responsibility on Automotive Design projects, Interact with customers and suppliers, mentor junior engineers.
- Work on ECRs/ECNs, review and release complete and accurate drawing packages within assigned time
- Proficient in creating drawings and models using any of the CAD software like Creo, AutoCAD and PLM tools.
- Experience in using PDM and SAP will be an added advantage.
- Proficient in verbal, written communication and presentation skills.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with cross functional teams and customers.
