Electrical Design and Service Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Design and Service Engineer to design, develop, and maintain electrical control systems for industrial machinery and automation projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for electrical panel design, system integration, troubleshooting, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Electrical Design & Development

• Design and develop electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layouts using AutoCAD Electrical .
• Select electrical components including circuit breakers, relays, PLCs, VFDs, and control panels.
• Perform load calculations, voltage drop analysis, and cable sizing.
• Develop Bill of Materials (BOM) and coordinate with procurement teams.

Panel Assembly & Integration

• Design and assemble electrical control panels and MCCs .
• Integrate and configure PLC, HMI systems for automation control.
• Define I/O lists, wiring schedules, and termination details.

Testing, Commissioning & Troubleshooting

• Conduct functional testing, system debugging, and troubleshooting of control systems.
• Ensure proper installation of earthing, insulation, and protective devices.
• Execute on-site commissioning and system validation for clients.

Maintenance & Service Support

• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance of electrical systems.
• Identify and resolve issues in motors, drives, sensors, and power circuits.
• Provide remote or on-site technical support to clients.
• Maintain maintenance logs, reports, and compliance documentation.

Safety & Compliance

• Ensure electrical safety compliance in all design and service activities.

Project Coordination & Client Support

• Work collaboratively with mechanical, automation, and procurement teams.
• Provide technical training to operators and maintenance personnel.
• Assist in project execution and ensure timely delivery within budget.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Diploma and Bachelors degree in electrical engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in electrical design and service engineering.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical, and PLC (Delta, Mitsubishi, Schneider,).
• Strong knowledge of power distribution, control systems, and motor drives.
• Hands-on experience with electrical troubleshooting and Panel wiring.
• Familiarity with electrical safety codes and industrial automation standards.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
