Information Technology Executive

Position.
Executive IT.
Required Experience.
Associate or Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, System Administration with 3-5 years of relevant work experience in Customer Support, IT Tech Support, Pharma or Biotech Industry.

The role.

IT Infrastructure Handling .
Installation and configuration of Window 2016 Server and Windows 2019 Server.
Managing disk space utilization of servers.
Server data backup, backup protocols, storage, and log maintenance.
Understanding of RAID protocols, NAS Drive and other data security protocols.
Monitor the servers and network daily and respond immediately to security or usability concern.
Sound knowledge of various Network devices Switches, Routers, Wireless Access Points.
Configuration and management of firewall.
Experience in working on and maintaining Hyper-V.
Hardware Troubleshooting Knowledge.
Sound knowledge of troubleshooting hardware faults in desktop and laptops.
Installation and troubleshooting issues of Windows 7, Windows 8 and Windows 10.
Troubleshooting issues in Internet and Intranet.
Managing Printers, Laptops and Desktops, Storage, Servers.
H/W diagnosis and escalation if required to the vendor/OEM.
Software Knowledge .
Configuration of User's and Groups in Organization unit in Active Directory.
Configuration of Group Policies in Domain.
Configuration of Microsoft Outlook and Troubleshooting.
Installation and configuration of Application Software.
Knowledge of Microsoft Online Exchange portal.
Knowledge of Network Security Protocols,.
Managing File Servers, Application Servers.
Antivirus policies managements.
Knowledge of Drive Encryption policies and software,.
Virus and patch management control at the Servers & Clients.
Firmware Updates on Server, Storage, Switch & Firewall.
Daily, Weekly, Monthly backups of critical instrument data and software.

Required Skills.
Should possess good communication skill and email ethics.
Should be able to manage multiple requests at a time.
Maintaining the IT Inventory Hardware as well as Software.
Should have experience in customer handling.
Should have experience in escalation management.
Day to Day Incident and Service request management.
Maintaining records of Incident and Service Requests.
Candidate from Tech Support or BioTech IT will be given preference.
