Manufacturing Engineer

Role & responsibilities :

• Study and understand machine specifications with support from design and assembly teams.
• Review project drawings, verify against BOM, and allocate work to vendors based on availability.
• Distribute drawings to vendors, set target dates, and create detailed manufacturing plans for follow-up.
• Coordinate with procurement to ensure purchase orders are correctly prepared as per design requirements and approved rates.
• Manage vendor relationships, monitor progress, and address urgent requirements in consultation with supervisors.
• Oversee in-house manufacturing, ensuring availability of materials and determining need for outsourcing based on workload.
• Arrange for quality inspections at vendor sites and ensure timely correction of any discrepancies.
• Ensure proper stock management, track part deliveries, and promptly resolve shortages or rework issues.

Preferred candidate profile :

• Essential Qualifications : Bachelor's in Engineering - Mechanical Or Diploma Mechanical
• Preferred Experience : 0 - 8+ year
• Preferred Industry : Machine Tools / Manufacturing
