Safety Officer

Job Purpose:

Responsible for ensuring safety compliance, minimizing occupational risks, and promoting a healthy workplace. Conducts inspections, audits, and implements safety protocols per statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Ensure compliance with safety regulations (Factory Act, OSHA) and implement policies.
- Perform regular inspections, audits, and risk assessments; report and address findings.
- Identify hazards, mitigate risks, and monitor safety measure implementation.
- Conduct safety training, drills, and awareness programs.
- Lead accident investigations and prepare reports; follow up on corrective actions.
- Maintain records of incidents, safety equipment, and training activities.
- Collaborate with production, maintenance, and HR teams to integrate safety measures.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Diploma/Degree in Occupational Health & Safety or Engineering.
- Certification in safety management (NEBOSH, OSHA) preferred.
- 5-8 years experience in HSE in manufacturing unit of medium size.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations, audit experience, and good communication skills.

Experience : 3-6 years (Textile sector preferred)
