Job Overview:
Highly skilled and experienced Logistics & Procurement Manager with expertise in international exports and imports management to oversee and optimize our logistics and procurement operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services, managing the logistics operations, and ensuring compliance with international trade regulations. The role will require a combination of strong negotiation skills, knowledge of global supply chains, and the ability to manage cross-functional teams to meet company objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Logistics:
• Manage the movement of goods, both locally and internationally.
• Work with shipping and logistics partners to ensure products are delivered on time.
• Keep track of inventory and make sure we dont run out of or overstock items.
• Resolve any issues with shipments, like delays or damage.
  

1. Procurement:
• Purchase goods and services, ensuring the best prices and quality.
• Negotiate with suppliers for contracts and favourable terms.
• Maintain relationships with suppliers and make sure they meet delivery and quality standards.
• Research and find new suppliers when needed.
  

1. International Trade:
• Make sure all imports and exports comply with international laws and regulations.
• Handle customs paperwork and work with customs authorities to clear goods.
• Stay updated on trade rules and make sure we follow them.
  

1. Inventory Management:
• Monitor inventory levels to ensure we have enough stock without over-ordering.
• Implement systems to track and control stock accurately.
  

1. Team Management:
• Lead and support a team of logistics and procurement staff.
• Work closely with other departments like sales and finance to meet business needs.
• Provide feedback and help develop team members.
  

1. Reporting:
• Prepare regular reports on logistics and procurement activities.
• Analyse performance and recommend improvements.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• Experience: At least 5 years of experience in logistics and procurement, with experience in international trade.
  

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of supply chains and international trade.
• Good at negotiating and working with suppliers.
• Experience with inventory management and procurement software.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.

Additional Information:

• Work Environment: Office-based with some travel to meet suppliers or visit logistics sites.
• Compensation: Competitive salary package of 8-9 LPA based on experience.
