Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Manufacturing HR Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing various human resources functions within our manufacturing environment, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and fostering a positive workplace culture. This role requires a strong understanding of manufacturing operations, employee relations, recruitment, training, and performance management.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment and Staffing:
Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs.
Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates for manufacturing positions.
Conduct interviews, coordinate assessments, and facilitate the hiring process.
Employee Relations:
Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns.
Mediate conflicts and facilitate resolutions to maintain a positive work environment.
Promote employee engagement initiatives and programs.
Training and Development:
Identify training needs and coordinate training programs for employees.
Develop onboarding processes for new hires to ensure a smooth transition into the manufacturing environment.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs.
Performance Management:
Assist in the development and implementation of performance appraisal systems.
Provide guidance to managers on performance-related issues and employee development plans.
Support succession planning and career development initiatives.
Compliance and Policy Management:
Ensure compliance with labor laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
Compensation and Benefits:
Support the administration of compensation and benefits programs.
Conduct market research to ensure competitive pay structures.
Address employee inquiries regarding benefits and compensation.
Health and Safety:
Collaborate with safety teams to promote a safe working environment.
Assist in the development and implementation of health and safety training programs.
