Summary of Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Architect, implement, and optimize VoIP solutions for enterprise environments.
- Lead and participate in troubleshooting and resolving complex issues in VoIP systems, including SIP trunks, codecs, and network connectivity.
- Ensure seamless integration of VoIP with other communication tools and platforms (e.g., CRM, PBX, UCaaS).
- Oversee the deployment and configuration of VoIP devices and systems.
- Monitor VoIP systems for performance, security, and reliability.
Required Skills, Knowledge, Abilities, and Competencies :
- In-depth knowledge of VoIP protocols like SIP, RTP, and H.323.
- Experience with VoIP platforms like Asterisk, FreeSWITCH, Cisco Call Manager, or Avaya.
- Understanding of network concepts (QoS, VLAN, NAT, firewalls) and tools.
- Familiarity with VoIP troubleshooting tools (Wireshark, SIP trace analyzers).
- Experience with cloud telephony solutions (e.g., Twilio, Vonage, AWS Connect).
- Audio/Video Calls over WebRTC
