Role & responsibilities

• Plan and Implement Quality Assurance throughout organisation.
• Ensure zero customer complaints by introducing quality gate concept.
• Ensure in process rejection and rework is within target set by the management.
• Assure the reliability and consistency of production by ensuring in process control by having internal process and product audits.
• Report all non conformities to the concerned process owners to ensure timely action. Keep records of quality reports, statistical reviews and relevant documentation.
• Communicate and interaction with customer for QAP (Quality Assurance Plan) & Customer Complaints Maintaining all the measuring equipment and Calibration records & standards. Part of CFT (Cross functional teams) to study and understand quality requirement and compliance of the same at the time of RFQ.
• Drawing reading and interpretations.

Preferred candidate profile

• Diploma / Graduate in Mechanical Engg. Lead auditor /knowledge of various standards such as ISO 9001, AS 9120 D, ISO 14001, OHSAS 45001, and Sustainability 12 Years & Above Experience in Quality Assurance / Quality Control of Closed Die Forgings and Machined components.

Critical Attributes

• Proven experience as a quality assurance Sr. Engineer / Asst Manager grade more than 3 ~ 5 years.
• Thorough knowledge of methodologies of quality assurance and standards + Focus on accuracy and precision Excellent numerical skills and understanding of data analysis/statistical methods Ability to conduct internal Quality audits . Must have knowledge in Mechanical Parts and Assemblies Leadership Skill + Analytical Mind-set is needed.
• Good Presentation Skill + Good Observation Skill. Better Communication Skill + Computer Skill + Good in report writing and investigation skill. Ability to tackle with all types of quality assurance officers (external) Strong customer focus and a demonstrated ability to build effective relationships across organizational boundaries; Prompt + Pro-active + Pleasing Personality + Conversant in English / Hindi / Local Language.
