Job Description

We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Podcast Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in podcast editing and will be responsible for producing high-quality audio content that engages and captivates our audience. You will work closely with podcast hosts and producers to ensure the final product meets our standards and vision.

Key Responsibilities:

Audio Editing: Edit podcast episodes to ensure clarity, consistency, and professional sound quality. This includes removing background noise, cutting unnecessary segments, and adjusting audio levels.
Post-Production: Add intros, outro, and additional sound effects or music to enhance the listening experience.
Content Review: Review and organize podcast recordings, ensuring that content flows smoothly and aligns with the shows objectives.
Collaboration: Work closely with podcast hosts and producers to understand their vision and make necessary edits according to their feedback.
File Management: Manage and organize audio files, ensuring proper labeling and storage for easy retrieval and future reference.
Quality Assurance: Perform quality checks to ensure the final product is free from technical issues and meets the highest audio standards.

Qualifications:

Experience: 2-3 years of experience in podcast editing or a similar audio editing role.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in audio editing software such as DaVinci Resolve, Premiere Pro
Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail with a keen ear for audio quality and a commitment to producing polished final products.
Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
Creativity: Creative approach to editing, with the ability to enhance the content through sound design and editing techniques.
