Sr. Documentary Editor

• End-to-End Project Management: Take full ownership of editing projects, from initial footage review to final delivery.
  
• Expert in DaVinci Resolve: Utilize advanced editing techniques, colour grading, and sound design to enhance the quality of our documentaries.
  
• Narrative Development: Work closely with directors and writers to shape the story, ensuring it aligns with Prachyam\u2019s mission and vision.
  
• All-Round Editing Skills: Handle various aspects of post-production, including video editing, audio mixing, colour correction, and visual effects.
  
• Collaboration: Coordinate with other departments (motion graphics, sound, etc.) to ensure a cohesive final product.
  
• Quality Assurance: Ensure all deliverables meet the highest standards of quality, consistency, and accuracy.
  
• Mission Alignment: Ensure that the content created aligns with the values of Prachyam, particularly in promoting Indian culture, history, and values.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 10+ years in documentary editing, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
  
• Technical Skills: Mastery of DaVinci Resolve; proficiency in other editing software is a plus.
  
• Storytelling: Exceptional understanding of narrative structure and pacing.
  
• Attention to Detail: Strong eye for detail, with the ability to deliver polished, error-free content.
  
• Independence: Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously with minimal supervision.
